So after a while, came vnto him they that stoode by, and sayde vnto Peter, Surely thou art also one of them: for euen thy speache bewraieth thee.

And about the space of an houre after, a certaine other affirmed, saying. Verely euen this man was with him: for he is also a Galilean.

Then Simon Peter hauing a sword, drewe it, & smote the hie Priests seruant, and cut off his right eare. Nowe the seruants name was Malchus.
