Then beleeued they his wordes, and sang prayse vnto him.

Iesus answered, & said vnto him, Verely, verely I say vnto thee, except a man be borne againe, he can not see the kingdome of God.

And a great multitude followed him, because they sawe his miracles, which hee did on them that were diseased.

Nowe when the people sawe that Iesus was not there, neither his disciples, they also tooke shipping, and came to Capernaum, seeking for Iesus.

Verely, verely I say vnto you, hee that beleeueth in me, hath euerlasting life.

But there are some of you that beleeue not: for Iesus knewe from the beginning, which they were that beleeued not, & who shoulde betray him.

For they that are such, serue not the Lorde Iesus Christ, but their owne bellies, and with faire speech and flattering deceiue the heartes of the simple.

Whose ende is damnation, whose God is their bellie, and whose glorie is to their shame, which minde earthly things.

Ye aske, and receiue not, because ye aske amisse, that ye might lay the same out on your pleasures.
