Neuertheles good things are found in thee, because thou hast taken away ye groues out of the land, and hast prepared thine heart to seeke God.

To him that excelleth on Gittith. A Psalme of Dauid. O lord our Lord, how excellent is thy Name in all the worlde! which hast set thy glory aboue the heauens.

The pathes are waste: the wayfaring man ceaseth: hee hath broken the couenant: hee hath contemned the cities: he regarded no man.

Beholde, the princes of Israel euery one in thee was ready to his power, to shed blood.

And hee would not of a long time: but afterward he said with himselfe, Though I feare not God, nor reuerence man,
