This is my couenant which ye shall keepe betweene me & you, & thy seede after thee, Let euery man childe among you be circumcised:

And because hee loued thy fathers, therefore hee chose their seede after them, and hath brought thee out of Egypt in his sight by his mightie power,

There was not a worde of all that Moses had commaunded, which Ioshua read not before all the Congregation of Israel, as well before the women & the children, as the stranger that was conuersant among them.

But Hannah went not vp: for she sayd vnto her husband, I will tarie vntill the childe be weined, then I will bring him that hee may appeare before the Lord, and there abide for euer.

Wee will not hide them from their children but to the generation to come we wil shewe the praises of the Lord his power also, & his wonderful woorkes that he hath done:

A song of degrees or Psalme of Dauid. Lorde, mine heart is not hautie, neither are mine eyes loftie, neither haue I walked in great matters and hid from me.

And I wil giue them one heart and one way that they may feare me for euer for ye wealth of them, and of their children after them.

See that ye despise not one of these litle ones: for I say vnto you, that in heauen their Angels alwayes behold the face of my Father which is in heauen.

Then hee looked rounde about on them angerly, mourning also for the hardnesse of their hearts, and saide to the man, Stretch foorth thine hand; he stretched it out: and his hande was restored, as whole as the other.

And when his disciples, Iames and Iohn sawe it, they saide, Lorde, wilt thou that we commaund, that fire come downe from heauen, and consume them, euen as Elias did?

For the promise is made vnto you, and to your children, and to all that are a farre off, euen as many as the Lord our God shall call.

For if the first fruites be holy, so is the whole lumpe: and if the roote be holy, so are the branches.

For the vnbeleeuing husband is sanctified to the wife, and the vnbeleeuing wife is sanctified to the husbande, els were your children vncleane: but nowe are they holie.

Bee angrie, but sinne not: let not the sunne goe downe vpon your wrath,

And that thou hast knowen the holy Scriptures of a childe, which are able to make thee wise vnto saluation, through the faith which is in Christ Iesus.

And in their mouthes was found no guile: for they are without spot before the throne of God.
