For the Lorde giueth wisdome, out of his mouth commeth knowledge and vnderstanding.

Behold, The dayes come, saith the Lord, that I will raise vnto Dauid a righteous branche, and a King shal reigne, and prosper, and shall execute iudgement, and iustice in the earth.

Saying, Where is that King of the Iewes that is borne? For wee haue seene his starre in the East, and are come to worship him.

Pilate said vnto them, What shal I do then with Iesus, which is called Christ? They all said to him, Let him be crucified.

And anon in the dawning, the hie Priestes helde a Councill with the Elders, and the Scribes, and the whole Council, and bound Iesus, and led him away, and deliuered him to Pilate.

Then Pilate spake againe to them, willing to let Iesus loose.

Him hath God lift vp with his right hand, to be a Prince and a Sauiour, to giue repentance to Israel, and forgiuenes of sinnes.
