Reioyce in his holy Name: let the heart of them that seeke the Lord, reioyce.

For as Ionas was three daies & three nights in the whales belly: so shall the Sonne of man be three daies & three nights in ye heart of the earth.

And for feare of him, the keepers were astonied, and became as dead men.

And as they came downe from the mountaine, he charged them, that they should tell no man what they had seene, saue when the Sonne of man were risen from the dead againe.

And it came to passe, that as they were amased thereat, beholde, two men suddenly stood by them in shining vestures.

And said vnto them, Thus is it written, and thus it behoued Christ to suffer, and to rise againe from the dead the third day,

And Pilate wrote also a title, and put it on the crosse, and it was written, Iesvs Of Nazareth The King Of The Iewes.

Be it knowen vnto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the Name of Iesvs Christ of Nazareth, whom ye haue crucified, whome God raised againe from the dead, euen by him doth this man stand here before you, whole.

For first of all, I deliuered vnto you that which I receiued, how that Christ died for our sinnes, according to the Scriptures,
