But the righteous wil holde his way, & he whose hands are pure, shall increase his strength.

They shall be as stubble before the winde, and as chaffe that the storme carieth away.

He that giueth not his money vnto vsurie, nor taketh reward against the innocent: hee that doeth these things, shall neuer be moued.

As raw flesh before your pots feele the fire of thornes: so let him cary them away as with a whirlewinde in his wrath.

Surely thou hast set them in slipperie places, and castest them downe into desolation.

Whe your feare cometh like sudden desolation, & your destruction shall come like a whirle wind: whe affliction & anguish shal come vpo you,

A man cannot be established by wickednesse: but the roote of the righteous shall not be mooued.

As though they were not plated, as though they were not sowen, as though their stocke tooke no roote in the earth: for he did euen blow vpon them, and they withered, and the whirlewinde will take them away as stubble.

And I say also vnto thee, that thou art Peter, and vpon this rocke I will builde my Church: and ye gates of hel shal not ouercome it.

Laying vp in store for themselues a good foundation against the time to come, that they may obteine eternall life.
