Then Dauid answered Rechab & Baanah his brother, the sonnes of Rimmon the Beerothite, and saide vnto them, As the Lorde liueth, who hath deliuered my soule out of al aduersity,
Thou shalt destroy them that speake lyes: the Lorde will abhorre the bloodie man and deceitfull.
He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.
They shall cause their owne tongue to fall vpon them: and whosoeuer shall see them, shall flee away.
The wise in heart will receiue commandements: but the foolish in talke shalbe beaten.
The tongue of the wise vseth knowledge aright: but the mouth of fooles babbleth out foolishnesse.
He that keepeth his mouth and his tongue, keepeth his soule from afflictions.
And by the commaundement of the King these me which had accused Daniel, were brought, and were cast into the denne of lions, euen they, their children, and their wiues: and the lyons had the mastry of them, & brake all their bones a pieces, or euer they came at the groud of the denne.
Who shall separate vs from the loue of Christ? shall tribulation or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakednesse, or perill, or sworde?
