Therefore Esau hated Iaakob, because of the blessing, wherewith his father blessed him; Esau thought in his minde, The dayes of mourning for my father will come shortly, then I will slay may brother Iaakob.
Then said he, Thy name shalbe called Iaakob no more, but Israel: because thou hast had power with God, thou shalt also preuaile with men.
And the feare of the Lorde fell vpon all the kingdomes of ye lands that were round about Iudah, & they fought not against Iehoshaphat.
And they deliuered the Kings commission vnto the Kings officers, and to the captaines beyond the Riuer: and they promoted the people, and the house of God.
The Lord sayd, Surely thy remnant shal haue wealth: surely I will cause thine enemie to intreate thee in the time of trouble, & in the time of affliction.
And Saul yet breathing out threatnings and slaughter against the disciples of ye Lord, went vnto the hie Priest,
What shall we then say to these thinges? If God be on our side, who can be against vs?
That ye might walke worthy of the Lord, & please him in all things, being fruitefull in all good workes, and increasing in the knowledge of God,
Make you perfect in all good workes, to doe his will, working in you that which is pleasant in his sight through Iesus Christ, to whom be praise for euer and euer, Amen.
