He that spareth his rodde, hateth his sonne: but he that loueth him, chasteneth him betime.

Foolishnesse is bounde in the heart of a childe: but the rodde of correction shall driue it away from him.

Correct thy sonne & he will giue thee rest, and will giue pleasures to thy soule.
