Doubtlesse man walketh in a shadowe, and disquieteth himselfe in vaine: he heapeth vp riches, and cannot tell who shall gather them.
For riches remaine not alway, nor the crowne from generation to generation.
(5:12) There is an euill sickenes that I haue seene vnder the sunne: to wit, riches reserued to the owners thereof for their euill.
Wherefore doe ye lay out siluer and not for bread? and your labour without being satisfied? hearken diligently vnto me, and eate that which is good, and let your soule delite in fatnes.
Take him, and looke well to him, & doe him no harme, but doe vnto him euen as he shal say vnto thee.
And this I say, brethren, because the time is short, hereafter that both they which haue wiues, be as though they had none:
Go to nowe, ye rich men: weepe, and howle for your miseries that shall come vpon you.
