A Psalme of Dauid. The Lord is my light & my saluation, whom shall I feare? the Lorde is the strength of my life, of whome shall I be afraide?
How suddenly are they destroyed, perished and horribly consumed,
He will not be afraide of euill tidings: for his heart is fixed, and beleeueth in the Lord.
Say ye not, A confederacie to all them, to whome this people sayth a confederacie, neither feare you their feare, nor be afrayd of them.
In righteousnes shalt thou be established, and be farre from oppression: for thou shalt not feare it: and from feare, for it shall not come neere thee.
But they shall sit euery man vnder his vine, and vnder his figge tree, and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of the Lorde of hostes hath spoken it.
And beholde, there arose a great tempest in the sea, so that the ship was couered with waues: but he was a sleepe.
When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the Prophet, set in the holy place (let him that readeth consider it.)
And when ye heare of warres and seditions, be not afraid: for these things must first come, but the ende foloweth not by and by.
Let not your heart be troubled: ye beleeue in God, beleeue also in me.
