TSK · Proverbs 30:8

Then Iaakob vowed a vowe, saying, If God will be with me, and will keepe me in this iourney which I go, & wil giue me bread to eate, and clothes to put on:

And when the children of Israel sawe it, they sayde one to another, It is MAN, for they wist not what it was; Moses sayd vnto them, This is the breade which the Lorde hath giuen you to eate.

And they gathered it euery morning, euery man according to his eating: for when the heate of the sunne came, it was melted.

And the children of Israel did eate MAN fourtie yeres, vntill they came vnto a land inhabited: they did eate MAN vntill they came to the borders of the land of Canaan.

Neyther haue I departed from the commandement of his lippes, and I haue esteemed the words of his mouth more then mine appointed foode.

Take from mee the way of lying, and graunt me graciously thy Lawe.

A righteous man hateth lying wordes: but the wicked causeth slander and shame.

He that soweth iniquitie, shall reape affliction, and the rodde of his anger shall faile.

Vanitie of vanities, sayth the Preacher: vanitie of vanities, all is vanitie.

No man calleth for iustice: no man contendeth for trueth: they trust in vanitie, & speake vaine things: they conceiue mischiefe, and bring foorth iniquitie.

His porcion was a continuall portion giuen him of ye king of Babel, euery day a certaine, all the dayes of his life vntill he died.

But seeke ye first the kingdome of God, and his righteousnesse, and all these things shall be ministred vnto you.

Then he sayde vnto them, Draw out nowe and beare vnto the gouernour of the feast. So they bare it.

But godlinesse is great gaine, if a man be content with that he hath.
