A Psalme of Dauid to giue instruction. Blessed is he whose wickednes is forgiuen, and whose sinne is couered.

Thou hast forgiuen the iniquitie of thy people, and couered all their sinnes. Selah.

Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, will your God say.

Who is a God like vnto thee, that taketh away iniquitie, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage! He reteineth not his wrath for euer, because mercie pleaseth him.

Wherefore I say vnto thee, many sinnes are forgiuen her: for she loued much. To whom a litle is forgiuen, he doeth loue a litle.
