¶ And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, [here] I [am].
And the angel of God spake unto me in a dream, [saying], Jacob: And I said, Here [am] I.
And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, [I] the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, [and] will speak unto him in a dream.
And the LORD said unto Gideon, The people that [are] with thee [are] too many for me to give the Midianites into their hands, lest Israel vaunt themselves against me, saying, Mine own hand hath saved me.
That the LORD called Samuel: and he answered, Here [am] I.
And he sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of God: and as long as he sought the LORD, God made him to prosper.
¶ For God speaketh once, yea twice, [yet man] perceiveth it not.
I saw by night, and behold a man riding upon a red horse, and he stood among the myrtle trees that [were] in the bottom; and behind him [were there] red horses, speckled, and white.
¶ And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, ‹Ananias.› And he said, Behold, I [am here], Lord.
And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat.
