But they understood not that saying, and were afraid to ask him.

And they understood none of these things: and this saying was hid from them, neither knew they the things which were spoken.

Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?

¶ ‹These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended.›

¶ ‹A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father.›
