Remember, O LORD, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for they [have been] ever of old.

¶ I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the LORD, [and] the praises of the LORD, according to all that the LORD hath bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he hath bestowed on them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his lovingkindnesses.

¶ Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee: for they [are] men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH.

But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.

¶ But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,

For God is my record, how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ.

¶ Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;

But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels [of compassion] from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?

‹I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David,› [and] ‹the bright and morning star.›
