And he called [unto him] his disciples, and saith unto them, ‹Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury:›
‹But I tell you of a truth, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elias, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when great famine was throughout all the land;›
‹Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he hath.›
¶ Then Peter opened [his] mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:
For if there be first a willing mind, [it is] accepted according to that a man hath, [and] not according to that he hath not.
