TSK · Matthew 16:23

¶ And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed [is] the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat [of] it all the days of thy life;

¶ And Satan stood up against Israel, and provoked David to number Israel.

¶ And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him.

¶ ‹Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!›

And Jesus answered and said unto him, ‹Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.›

For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

[It is] good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor [any thing] whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.

And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
