And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, [thou] Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.
And, behold, two blind men sitting by the way side, when they heard that Jesus passed by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, [thou] Son of David.
And when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the Son of David; they were sore displeased,
¶ And he cometh to Bethsaida; and they bring a blind man unto him, and besought him to touch him.
¶ And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging.
¶ And Jesus answered and said, while he taught in the temple, ‹How say the scribes that Christ is the Son of David?›
And they lifted up [their] voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.
And he said unto them, ‹How say they that Christ is David's son?›
¶ And as [Jesus] passed by, he saw a man which was blind from [his] birth.
Whose [are] the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ [came], who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.
