And she [was] in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the LORD, and wept sore.

And when she came to the man of God to the hill, she caught him by the feet: but Gehazi came near to thrust her away. And the man of God said, Let her alone; for her soul [is] vexed within her: and the LORD hath hid [it] from me, and hath not told me.

For the arrows of the Almighty [are] within me, the poison whereof drinketh up my spirit: the terrors of God do set themselves in array against me.

He will not suffer me to take my breath, but filleth me with bitterness.

The secret of the LORD [is] with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.

¶ The spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity; but a wounded spirit who can bear?

And he taketh with him Peter and James and John, and began to be sore amazed, and to be very heavy;

¶ ‹I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.›

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

‹He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth› [it].
