Jesus answered and said unto them, ‹Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.›
Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.
Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not [in] the oldness of the letter.
¶ I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, [which is] your reasonable service.
And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power.
For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you.
And what [is] the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
¶ This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,
For ye were sometimes darkness, but now [are ye] light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
¶ For this cause we also, since the day we heard [it], do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
¶ If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
¶ Masters, give unto [your] servants that which is just and equal; knowing that ye also have a Master in heaven.
¶ Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;
He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
