There has not been a day like it before or since. The LORD obeyed a man, for the LORD fought for Israel!
One of you makes a thousand run away, for the LORD your God fights for you as he promised you he would.

God helped him in his campaigns against the Philistines, the Arabs living in Gur Baal, and the Meunites.
So we fasted and prayed to our God about this, and he answered us.
Some trust in chariots and others in horses, but we depend on the LORD our God.
To you they cried out, and they were saved; in you they trusted and they were not disappointed.

How blessed is the one whose helper is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD his God,
My blessing is on those people who trust in me, who put their confidence in me.
The LORD is good– indeed, he is a fortress in time of distress, and he protects those who seek refuge in him.
