TSK · 2 Chronicles 31:5

“Do not hold back offerings from your granaries or your vats. You must give me the firstborn of your sons.

“You must observe the Feast of Weeks– the firstfruits of the harvest of wheat– and the Feast of Ingathering at the end of the year.

‘Take an offering for the LORD. Let everyone who has a willing heart bring an offering to the LORD: gold, silver, bronze,

and told Moses,“The people are bringing much more than is needed for the completion of the work which the LORD commanded us to do!”

“All the best of the olive oil and all the best of the wine and of the wheat, the first fruits of these things that they give to the LORD, I have given to you.

All the officials and all the people gladly brought their silver and threw it into the chest until it was full.

We also accept responsibility, as is written in the law, for bringing the firstborn of our sons and our cattle and the firstborn of our herds and of our flocks to the temple of our God, to the priests who are ministering in the temple of our God.

Then all of Judah brought the tithe of the grain, the new wine, and the olive oil to the storerooms.

Honor the LORD from your wealth and from the first fruits of all your crops;

that during a severe ordeal of suffering, their abundant joy and their extreme poverty have overflowed in the wealth of their generosity.

These are the ones who have not defiled themselves with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These were redeemed from humanity as firstfruits to God and to the Lamb,
