The Table for the Bread of the Presence“You are to make a table of acacia wood; its length is to be three feet, its width one foot six inches, and its height two feet three inches.

The Making of the Altar of Incense He made the incense altar of acacia wood. Its length was a foot and a half and its width a foot and a half– a square– and its height was three feet. Its horns were of one piece with it.

Solomon also made all these items for the LORD’s temple: the gold altar, the gold table on which was kept the Bread of the Presence,

The Babylonians broke the two bronze pillars in the LORD’s temple, as well as the movable stands and the big bronze basin called“The Sea.” They took the bronze to Babylon.

Solomon sent a message to King Huram of Tyre:“Help me as you did my father David, when you sent him cedar logs for the construction of his palace.

But once he became powerful, his pride destroyed him. He disobeyed the LORD his God. He entered the LORD’s temple to offer incense on the incense altar.

He carried away to Babylon all the items in God’s temple, whether large or small, as well as what was in the treasuries of the LORD’s temple and in the treasuries of the king and his officials.

Before two years are over, I will bring back to this place everything that King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon took from it and carried away to Babylon.

While under the influence of the wine, Belshazzar issued an order to bring in the gold and silver vessels– the ones that Nebuchadnezzar his father had confiscated from the temple in Jerusalem– so that the king and his nobles, together with his wives and his concubines, could drink from them.

Another angel holding a golden censer came and was stationed at the altar. A large amount of incense was given to him to offer up, with the prayers of all the saints, on the golden altar that is before the throne.
