Elijah Runs for His Life Ahab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done, including a detailed account of how he killed all the prophets with the sword.

and they brought Uriah back from there. They took him to King Jehoiakim, who had him executed and had his body thrown into the burial place of the common people.

He told them,“You will drink my cup, but to sit at my right and at my left is not mine to give. Rather, it is for those for whom it has been prepared by my Father.”

But Jesus said to them,“You don’t know what you are asking! Are you able to drink the cup I drink or be baptized with the baptism I experience?”

They were stoned, sawed apart, murdered with the sword; they went about in sheepskins and goatskins; they were destitute, afflicted, ill-treated
