For I will pour water on the parched ground and cause streams to flow on the dry land. I will pour my Spirit on your offspring and my blessing on your children.

I will sprinkle you with pure water and you will be clean from all your impurities. I will purify you from all your idols.

Joel 2:28 TSK

An Outpouring of the Spirit(3:1) After all of this I will pour out my Spirit on all kinds of people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your elderly will have prophetic dreams; your young men will see visions.

“Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.”

From that time Jesus began to preach this message:“Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near!”

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,

The one who believes and is baptized will be saved, but the one who does not believe will be condemned.

and repentance for the forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem.

but I declared to those in Damascus first, and then to those in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, performing deeds consistent with repentance.

Is Christ divided? Paul wasn’t crucified for you, was he? Or were you in fact baptized in the name of Paul?

And this prefigured baptism, which now saves you– not the washing off of physical dirt but the pledge of a good conscience to God– through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
