Timothy Joins Paul and Silas He also came to Derbe and to Lystra. A disciple named Timothy was there, the son of a Jewish woman who was a believer, but whose father was a Greek.

Paul and Silas at Berea The brothers sent Paul and Silas off to Berea at once, during the night. When they arrived, they went to the Jewish synagogue.

(For they had seen Trophimus the Ephesian in the city with him previously, and they assumed Paul had brought him into the inner temple courts.)

Timothy, my fellow worker, greets you; so do Lucius, Jason, and Sosipater, my compatriots.

¶ Salutation From Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, to the church of God that is in Corinth, with all the saints who are in all Achaia.

If there is any question about Titus, he is my partner and fellow worker among you; if there is any question about our brothers, they are messengers of the churches, a glory to Christ.

Models for Ministry Now I hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you soon, so that I too may be encouraged by hearing news about you.

Aristarchus, my fellow prisoner, sends you greetings, as does Mark, the cousin of Barnabas(about whom you received instructions; if he comes to you, welcome him).

Erastus stayed in Corinth. Trophimus I left ill in Miletus.
