When Pilate heard these words he brought Jesus outside and sat down on the judgment seat in the place called“The Stone Pavement”(Gabbatha in Aramaic).

Paul replied,“I am standing before Caesar’s judgment seat, where I should be tried. I have done nothing wrong to the Jews, as you also know very well.

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be paid back according to what he has done while in the body, whether good or evil.
