Those of Pharaoh’s servants who feared the LORD’s message hurried to bring their servants and livestock into the houses,

A shrewd person saw danger–he hid himself; the naive passed right on by– they had to pay for it.

but there is one who hears the sound of the trumpet yet does not heed the warning. Then the sword comes and sweeps him away. He will be responsible for his own death.

By faith Noah, when he was warned about things not yet seen, with reverent regard constructed an ark for the deliverance of his family. Through faith he condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness that comes by faith.
