TSK · Colossians 3:20

Jacob obeyed his father and mother and left for Paddan Aram.

Each of you must respect his mother and his father, and you must keep my Sabbaths. I am the LORD your God.

‘Cursed is the one who disrespects his father and mother.’ Then all the people will say,‘Amen!’

My child, guard the commands of your father and do not forsake the instruction of your mother.

There is a generation who curse their fathers and do not bless their mothers.

They have treated father and mother with contempt within you; they have oppressed the resident foreigner among you; they have wronged the orphan and the widow within you.

For God said,‘Honor your father and mother’ and‘Whoever insults his father or mother must be put to death.’

But as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.

For I have received everything, and I have plenty. I have all I need because I received from Epaphroditus what you sent– a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, very pleasing to God.

Slaves, obey your earthly masters in every respect, not only when they are watching– like those who are strictly people-pleasers– but with a sincere heart, fearing the Lord.

equip you with every good thing to do his will, working in us what is pleasing before him through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever. Amen.
