Then Pharaoh summoned Joseph. So they brought him quickly out of the dungeon; he shaved himself, changed his clothes, and came before Pharaoh.

Deliver those being taken away to death, and hold back those slipping to the slaughter.

As it turned out, among these young men were some from Judah: Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah.

Then they said to the king,“Daniel, who is one of the captives from Judah, pays no attention to you, O king, or to the edict that you issued. Three times daily he offers his prayer.”
