you appoint them to rule over your creation; you have placed everything under their authority,

All kings will bow down to him; all nations will serve him.

when the nations gather together, and the kingdoms pay tribute to the LORD.

A psalm of David. Here is the LORD’s proclamation to my lord:“Sit down at my right hand until I make your enemies your footstool!”

The LORD rules forever, your God, O Zion, throughout the generations to come! Praise the LORD!

His dominion will be vast and he will bring immeasurable prosperity. He will rule on David’s throne and over David’s kingdom, establishing it and strengthening it by promoting justice and fairness, from this time forward and forevermore. The zeal of the LORD of Heaven’s Armies will accomplish this.

Then the iron, clay, bronze, silver, and gold were broken in pieces without distinction and became like chaff from the summer threshing floors that the wind carries away. Not a trace of them could be found. But the stone that struck the statue became a large mountain that filled the entire earth.

Then the herald made a loud proclamation:“To you, O peoples, nations, and language groups, the following command is given:

I have issued an edict that throughout all the dominion of my kingdom people are to revere and fear the God of Daniel.“For he is the living God; he endures forever. His kingdom will not be destroyed; his authority is forever.

Then the kingdom, authority, and greatness of the kingdoms under all of heaven will be delivered to the people of the holy ones of the Most High. His kingdom is an eternal kingdom; all authorities will serve him and obey him.’

I will transform the lame into the nucleus of a new nation, and those far off into a mighty nation. The LORD will reign over them on Mount Zion, from that day forward and forevermore.”

Then Jesus came up and said to them,“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

All things have been given to me by my Father. No one knows who the Son is except the Father, or who the Father is except the Son and anyone to whom the Son decides to reveal him.”

The Father loves the Son and has placed all things under his authority.

Then the crowd responded,“We have heard from the law that the Christ will remain forever. How can you say,‘The Son of Man must be lifted up’? Who is this Son of Man?”

This power he exercised in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms

So since we are receiving an unshakable kingdom, let us give thanks, and through this let us offer worship pleasing to God in devotion and awe.

I will grant the one who conquers permission to sit with me on my throne, just as I too conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne.

They will make war with the Lamb, but the Lamb will conquer them, because he is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those accompanying the Lamb are the called, chosen, and faithful.”
