He jammed the wheels of their chariots so that they had difficulty driving, and the Egyptians said,“Let’s flee from Israel, for the LORD fights for them against Egypt!”

This very day I will begin to fill all the people of the earth with dread and to terrify them when they hear about you. They will shiver and shake in anticipation of your approach.”

Nobody will be able to resist you; the LORD your God will spread the fear and terror of you over the whole land on which you walk, just as he promised you.

So Saul feared David, because the LORD was with him but had departed from Saul.

So David became famous in all the lands; the LORD caused all the nations to fear him.

We existed from ancient times, but you did not rule over them; they were not your subjects.

All the nations will hear about all the good things which I will do to them. This city will bring me fame, honor, and praise before them for the joy that I bring it. The nations will tremble in awe at all the peace and prosperity that I will provide for it.’

“All nations will call you happy, for you indeed will live in a delightful land,” says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies.
