TSK · Deuteronomy 30:3

¶ The Decree of Cyrus In the first year of King Cyrus of Persia, in fulfillment of the LORD’s message spoken through Jeremiah, the LORD motivated King Cyrus of Persia to issue a proclamation throughout his kingdom and also to put it in writing. It read:

Deliver us, O LORD, our God! Gather us from among the nations! Then we will give thanks to your holy name, and boast about your praiseworthy deeds.

The LORD rebuilds Jerusalem, and gathers the exiles of Israel.

Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. From the east I will bring your descendants; from the west I will gather you.

The Sovereign LORD says this, the one who gathers the dispersed of Israel:“I will still gather them up.”

I will make myself available to you,’ says the LORD.‘Then I will reverse your plight and will regather you from all the nations and all the places where I have exiled you,’ says the LORD.‘I will bring you back to the place from which I exiled you.’

‘I will certainly regather my people from all the countries where I will have exiled them in my anger, fury, and great wrath. I will bring them back to this place and allow them to live here in safety.

Though he causes us grief, he then has compassion on us according to the abundance of his loyal kindness.

As a shepherd seeks out his flock when he is among his scattered sheep, so I will seek out my flock. I will rescue them from all the places where they have been scattered on a cloudy, dark day.

Then they will know that I am the LORD their God, because I sent them into exile among the nations, and then gathered them into their own land. I will not leave any of them in exile any longer.

“The LORD of Heaven’s Armies asserts,‘I am about to save my people from the lands of the east and the west.

And even they– if they do not continue in their unbelief– will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again.

so they too have now been disobedient in order that, by the mercy shown to you, they too may now receive mercy.
