An Exhortation to Love Both God and People Now, Israel, what does the LORD your God require of you except to revere him, to obey all his commandments, to love him, to serve him with all your mind and being,

The law of the LORD is perfect and preserves one’s life. The rules set down by the LORD are reliable and impart wisdom to the inexperienced.

I realize that everything has its limits, but your commands are beyond full comprehension.

The rules you impose are just, and absolutely reliable.

He has not done so with any other nation; they are not aware of his regulations. Praise the LORD!

So then, the law is holy, and the commandment is holy, righteous, and good.
