TSK · Esther 5:3

She said,“I would like to ask you for just one small favor. Please don’t refuse me.” He said,“Go ahead and ask, my mother, for I would not refuse you.”

The king responded,“What is it you are seeking?” Then I quickly prayed to the God of heaven

On the second day of the banquet of wine the king asked Esther,“What is your request, Queen Esther? It shall be granted to you. And what is your petition? Ask up to half the kingdom, and it shall be done!”

A Request for James and John Then the mother of the sons of Zebedee came to him with her sons, and kneeling down she asked him for a favor.

“What do you want me to do for you?” He replied,“Lord, let me see again.”
