Pharaoh said to him,“Go from me! Watch out for yourself! Do not appear before me again, for when you see my face you will die!”

Moses said to the LORD,“The people are not able to come up to Mount Sinai, because you solemnly warned us,‘Set boundaries for the mountain and set it apart.’”

No one is to come up with you; do not let anyone be seen anywhere on the mountain; not even the flocks or the herds may graze in front of that mountain.”

Instruct these people as follows:‘You are about to cross the border of your relatives the descendants of Esau, who inhabit Seir. They will be afraid of you, so watch yourselves carefully.

But stay about three thousand feet behind it. Keep your distance so you can see which way you should go, for you have not traveled this way before.”
