¶ Introduction to the Sacrificial Regulations Then the LORD called to Moses and spoke to him from the Meeting Tent:

and the LORD commissioned Joshua son of Nun,“Be strong and courageous, for you will take the Israelites to the land I have promised them, and I will be with you.”

When Gideon arrived, he heard a man telling another man about a dream he had. The man said,“Look! I had a dream. I saw a stale cake of barley bread rolling into the Midianite camp. It hit a tent so hard it knocked it over and turned it upside down. The tent just collapsed.”

Phinehas son of Eleazar had been their leader in earlier times, and the LORD was with him.

For this reason the Lord himself will give you a confirming sign. Look, this young woman is about to conceive and will give birth to a son. You, young woman, will name him Immanuel.

But I will punish the nation they serve as slaves,’ said God,‘and after these things they will come out of there and worship me in this place.’

What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
