God called the expanse“sky.” There was evening, and there was morning, a second day.

By the seventh day God finished the work that he had been doing, and he ceased on the seventh day all the work that he had been doing.

For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth and the sea and all that is in them, and he rested on the seventh day; therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and set it apart as holy.

when the morning stars sang in chorus, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

How many living things you have made, O LORD! You have exhibited great skill in making all of them; the earth is full of the living things you have made.

God has made everything fit beautifully in its appropriate time, but he has also placed ignorance in the human heart so that people cannot discover what God has ordained, from the beginning to the end of their lives.

For every creation of God is good and no food is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving.
