Here I am, standing by the spring, and the daughters of the people who live in the town are coming out to draw water.

But Jacob said to him,“My lord knows that the children are young, and that I have to look after the sheep and cattle that are nursing their young. If they are driven too hard for even a single day, all the animals will die.

As they were going up the ascent to the town, they met some girls coming out to draw water. They said to them,“Is this where the seer is?”

A Samaritan woman came to draw water. Jesus said to her,“Give me some water to drink.”
