The Conversion of Saul Meanwhile Saul, still breathing out threats to murder the Lord’s disciples, went to the high priest

For God, who said“Let light shine out of darkness,” is the one who shined in our hearts to give us the light of the glorious knowledge of God in the face of Christ.

For it has been granted to you not only to believe in Christ but also to suffer for him,

For I want you to know how great a struggle I have for you, and for those in Laodicea, and for those who have not met me face to face.

I have competed well; I have finished the race; I have kept the faith!

You have not yet resisted to the point of bloodshed in your struggle against sin.

Therefore, remember from what high state you have fallen and repent! Do the deeds you did at the first; if not, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place– that is, if you do not repent.
