‘Cursed is the one who moves his neighbor’s boundary marker.’ Then all the people will say,‘Amen!’

At that time King Ahaz asked the king of Assyria for help.

They surround me like water all day long; they join forces and encircle me.

Starting a quarrel is like letting out water; abandon strife before it breaks out!

Soon now I will pour out my rage on you; I will fully vent my anger against you. I will judge you according to your behavior. I will hold you accountable for all your abominable practices.

But the person who hears and does not put my words into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. When the river burst against that house, it collapsed immediately, and was utterly destroyed!”
