But for this purpose I have caused you to stand: to show you my strength, and so that my name may be declared in all the earth.

Your right hand, O LORD, was majestic in power, your right hand, O LORD, shattered the enemy.

This is what Hezekiah did throughout Judah. He did what the LORD his God considered good and right and faithful.

Yes, they intend to do you harm; they dream up a scheme, but they do not succeed.

Zion hears and rejoices, the towns of Judah are happy, because of your judgments, O LORD.

Who can compare to the LORD our God, who sits on a high throne?

the LORD’s right hand gives victory, the LORD’s right hand conquers.

I will reestablish honest judges as in former times, wise advisers as in earlier days. Then you will be called,‘The Just City, Faithful Town.’”

Proud men will be humiliated, arrogant men will be brought low; the LORD alone will be exalted in that day.

At that time you will say:“Praise the LORD! Ask him for help! Publicize his mighty acts among the nations! Make it known that he is unique!

Justice and Wisdom Will Prevail Look, a king will promote fairness; officials will promote justice.

“Now I will rise up,” says the LORD.“Now I will exalt myself; now I will magnify myself.

Wake up! Wake up! Clothe yourself with strength, O Zion! Put on your beautiful clothes, O Jerusalem, holy city! For uncircumcised and unclean pagans will no longer invade you.

For this is what the high and exalted one says, the one who rules forever, whose name is holy:“I dwell in an exalted and holy place, but also with the discouraged and humiliated, in order to cheer up the humiliated and to encourage the discouraged.

to strengthen those who mourn in Zion, by giving them a turban, instead of ashes, oil symbolizing joy, instead of mourning, a garment symbolizing praise, instead of discouragement. They will be called oaks of righteousness, trees planted by the LORD to reveal his splendor.

This is what the LORD says:“The heavens are my throne and the earth is my footstool. Where then is the house you will build for me? Where is the place where I will rest?

Under his rule Judah will enjoy safety and Israel will live in security. This is the name he will go by:‘The LORD has provided us with justice.’

Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and exalt and glorify the King of heaven, for all his deeds are right and his ways are just. He is able to bring down those who live in pride.

And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written:“The Deliverer will come out of Zion; he will remove ungodliness from Jacob.

because his judgments are true and just. For he has judged the great prostitute who corrupted the earth with her sexual immorality, and has avenged the blood of his servants poured out by her own hands!”
