says our protector– the LORD of Heaven’s Armies is his name, the Holy One of Israel.

For your husband is the one who made you– the LORD of Heaven’s Armies is his name. He is your protector, the Holy One of Israel. He is called“God of the entire earth.”

“The people of Israel are like scattered sheep which lions have chased away. First the king of Assyria devoured them. Now last of all King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon has gnawed their bones.

The LORD says,“I will cause a destructive wind to blow against Babylon and the people who inhabit Babylonia.

“But I will repay Babylon and all who live in Babylonia for all the wicked things they did in Zion right before the eyes of you Judeans,” says the LORD.

They will descend from their ships– all who handle the oar, the sailors and all the sea captains– they will stand on the land.

Then the merchants of the earth will weep and mourn for her because no one buys their cargo any longer–
