Certainly none who rely on you will be humiliated. Those who deal in treachery will be thwarted and humiliated.

Trust in the LORD from this time forward, even in Yah, the LORD, an enduring protector!

All the descendants of Israel will be vindicated by the LORD and will boast in him.

Look up at the sky! Look at the earth below! For the sky will dissipate like smoke, and the earth will wear out like clothes; its residents will die like gnats. But the deliverance I give is permanent; the vindication I provide will not disappear.

Don’t be afraid, for you will not be put to shame! Don’t be intimidated, for you will not be humiliated! You will forget about the shame you experienced in your youth; you will no longer remember the disgrace of your abandonment.

The sun will no longer supply light for you by day, nor will the moon’s brightness shine on you; the LORD will be your permanent source of light– the splendor of your God will shine upon you.

But I will have pity on the nation of Judah. I will deliver them by the LORD their God; I will not deliver them by the warrior’s bow, by sword, by military victory, by chariot horses, or by chariots.”

In that day you will not be ashamed of all your rebelliousness against me, for then I will remove from your midst those who proudly boast, and you will never again be arrogant on my holy hill.

For this is the will of my Father– for everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him to have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.”

For a person is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision something that is outward in the flesh,

just as it is written,“Look, I am laying in Zion a stone that will cause people to stumble and a rock that will make them fall, yet the one who believes in him will not be put to shame.”

And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written:“The Deliverer will come out of Zion; he will remove ungodliness from Jacob.

So then, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; what is old has passed away– look, what is new has come!

Call to Stand Firm But we ought to thank God always for you, brothers and sisters loved by the Lord, because God chose you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and faith in the truth.

And by being perfected in this way, he became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey him,

If anyone confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God resides in him and he in God.
