Judah Will Celebrate At that time this song will be sung in the land of Judah:“We have a strong city! The LORD’s deliverance, like walls and a rampart, makes it secure.
Evergreens will grow in place of thorn bushes, firs will grow in place of nettles; they will be a monument to the LORD, a permanent reminder that will remain.
They will be called,“The Holy People, the Ones Protected by the LORD.” You will be called,“Sought After, City Not Abandoned.”
But to all who have received him– those who believe in his name– he has given the right to become God’s children
in case I am delayed, to let you know how people ought to conduct themselves in the household of God, because it is the church of the living God, the support and bulwark of the truth.
(See what sort of love the Father has given to us: that we should be called God’s children– and indeed we are! For this reason the world does not know us: because it did not know him.
The one who conquers I will make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he will never depart from it. I will write on him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God(the new Jerusalem that comes down out of heaven from my God), and my new name as well.
