“Therefore say:‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Although I have removed them far away among the nations and have dispersed them among the countries, I have been a little sanctuary for them among the lands where they have gone.’

Then Simeon blessed them and said to his mother Mary,“Listen carefully: This child is destined to be the cause of the falling and rising of many in Israel and to be a sign that will be rejected.

Why not? Because they pursued it not by faith but(as if it were possible) by works. They stumbled over the stumbling stone,
