Now I will inform you what I am about to do to my vineyard: I will remove its hedge and turn it into pasture, I will break its wall and allow animals to graze there.

I am the one who forms light and creates darkness; the one who brings about peace and creates calamity. I am the LORD, who accomplishes all these things.

“I, the LORD, the God of Israel, say:‘The exiles of Judah whom I sent away from here to the land of Babylon are like those good figs. I consider them to be good.
