Zedekiah’s Reign Zedekiah was twenty-one years old when he became king, and he ruled for eleven years in Jerusalem.

Jeremiah Counsels Submission to Babylon The LORD spoke to Jeremiah early in the reign of Josiah’s son, King Zedekiah of Judah.

King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon came against Jerusalem with his whole army and laid siege to it. The siege began in the tenth month of the ninth year that Zedekiah ruled over Judah.
